Die cutting is a printing process where you cut an object out of a sheet of paper using a steel rule die. The die has cutting rules that when applied to the sheet of paper with the right amount of pressure will cut out the desired object. This kind of process is used to produce doorhangers, pocket folders and tabs to name a few.
Die Cutting is applied after a square or rectangular sheet is printed on a press. At Jenwoods, we can do this after it is printed on either our digital or offset press. We then take it to one of multiple die cutters and the figure is die cut out of the sheet.
We have in house die cutting facilities. We operate a Heidleberg Cylinder and a Heidleberg Platen. We can produce anything from cartons, display boxes, header cards to folders.
